Men who
make wine love
the land more than any
precious treasure.
The winery
Cantina Albea stands out as a significant entity in the local winemaking landscape, playing an important role also as a museum of the region's enological history. Founded at the dawn of the 20th century, its solid stone structures and ancient cisterns carved into the rock are testaments to Puglia's ancient winemaking tradition.
Albea Winery is one of the oldest and most accredited wineries in the area. It represents an important example of how modern production facilities can be reconciled with classic structures. The winery was founded around the early 1900s, and its structure is entirely made of stone, with the wine tanks buried in the rock, just as water tanks once were.
At its core is the desire to work in an environmentally sustainable way, respecting our fragile territory through the construction of photovoltaic systems
For Albea winery, converting land to organic represents a conscious choice dictated by a deliberate will to respect the surrounding environment.
